I've been to places like Bosnia and Croatia and India and Eastern Europe shooting still images and video, but I haven't quite been in this situation, where I'd have to make that choice, but I do wonder if this question comes from an intrepretation of the famous Eddie Adams photo, or the Nic Ut photo, both from the Vietnam War Era. In the Eddie Adams photo, a guy is being shot in the head from about point blank range by a cop, in the Nic Ut image, a young naked woman is running straight at the camera and away from the Napalm.
