Now why didn’t they have these when I was growing up? I could’ve dressed up in the Pimp Daddy Suit Costume, sending out my ho’s to get my candy for me. Oh wait, I didn’t have any ho’s.

August 13, 2004I was just going through some of my old Tales posts and realized, “holy shit, I never finished the Big Bird story!” My summer semester just wrapped up, so I’ll have a few weeks to think about finishing what I started before the next semester starts — the story really just doesn’t work when it’s half-assed and unfinished like that. I want to make up for my last story, which didn’t come out as good as I hoped I guess. Anyway, stay tuned…
Olympics are here!
Wait…Why am I yelling that?
I don’t care at all!

And I thought the Deep Fried Twinkie was my next adventure. Oh God, I can’t even type that in jest without feeling the onset of vomit.

Alright, funny picture — I’ll give him that. But what, no witty saying?! How about something like:
“We Give a Crap About Your Business”
“Fixing Toilets is our Doodie”
“Doing Our Business for Turdy Years”
“Drop a Log-in to our Website”
“We’re Number 1 at Your Number 2″
“Your Shit is Our Bread and Butter” (heard that one)
“Whatsamatta? You Never See Someone Taking a Dump Before?”
I figured it was time to bother Robin at Valve again regarding the original Team Fortress (for QuakeWorld) source code that I still have laying around. Here’s the latest:
I’ll have to ask the legal chappies over here. I’ll try and get back to

Subject: Question on old TF codeHeya again Rob. I meant to mention last time I wrote that I’m getting
asked again about the TF 2.9 source code and whether or not it’ll ever
get released. I still have never given out the code, but I do still
have it. Since the Quake source has been released for some time now,
and now Carmack is saying the Quake 2 source is coming out, how’s about
approaching this again? I think old-school TF fans would get a kick out
of seeing it come out.Let me know what you think…
I’ll keep you posted…in case you care.
