Those who use Gmail know that Google sends targeted ads to your workspace based on the contents of your mail. Here’s one even I didn’t see coming:

    Once got a bit of Spam spam from Hormel. The only spam I ever approved. :)

  4. Google/Gmail caught them spam for you. Otherwise you’d see them in your inbox right in your face. Then there is gmail’s cross-site scripting bug caused some people’s contact lists retrieved w/o asking recently. It was fixed pretty quickly though.
